Monteiro Lobato had various haircuts during his career. He reached fame as a world-class linguist, journalist, writer, publisher, children's writer, novelist and translator. However, the Brazilian writer was mostly known for his unique public appearances and his delightful personality. Before his tragic demise at age 66 he was repeatedly in the spotlight of tabloids because of his exceptionally hair and looks.
